Victoria Park/Vista Norte | Palm Springs
Not far from the renowned Racquet Club in north Palm Springs, the Alexander Construction Company built a community of their distinctive mid-century modern homes. The area is named for its proximity to Victoria Park, a large grassy green space, perfect for dog-walking and playing with the kids.
The adjacent neighborhood, Vista Norte, is often included in searches for Palm Springs real estate, as the neighborhoods are both rather small. But distinguishable.
Vista Norte is comprised of newer, ranch style homes. While Victoria Park features more of the Alexanders.
Prices in the neighborhood range from the $400,000s upwards to above $800,000, the pricier homes being the coveted Alexanders, tricked out and often expanded, with new pools and spas, additions, and desert landscaping.
Other homes are more along the Mediterranean-inspired track, dating from the ‘60s and ‘70s.
Close to schools, parks and shopping make this a great family neighborhood.
Hip hotels and dining are nearby along North Palm Canyon Drive and downtown Palm Springs is minutes away.
Some sections of this neighborhood are on lease land, so buyers should check the land type if they are concerned about purchasing on lease land.
